The Babylab gathers an international group of of researchers in psychology, cognitive, speech motor and language sciences.
Topics of research include infants’ development of face perception, their ability to differentiate between languages, the development of cognitive and language and social skills, the role of multimodality and experience in language development.
We use a variety of behavioral and physiological methods, e.g., based on measurements of children's gaze, vocal productions.
Our studies are carried out within the framework of local, national, European and international collaborations with academic partners, as well as professionals from the educational, clinical and social sectors.
